For over 50 years the NATA accredited testing provided by AWTA on carpets and rugs has been extensively utilised by architects, builder/developers, government departments, carpet contractors and manufacturers.

ACCS Grading Packages
The Australian Carpet Classification Scheme (ACCS) is a carpet grading scheme coordinated by the Carpet Institute of Australia.
Testing requirements include construction verification, durability and appearance after use and small source ignitability.
ACCS rated carpets are independently tested by accredited laboratories and then rated according to their suitability for use in contract and residential installations in trafficking conditions described as light, medium, heavy and extra heavy.
Volatile Organic Content (VOC)
VOC testing is conducted at our joint venture laboratory AWTA-JSic Jin Ao, in Nanjing. Sample testing is co-ordinated at AWTA Product Testing, and while we can assist with sending samples to JinAo, clients are welcome to deliver their products directly to the laboratory in Nanjing.
