AS 4602.1-2024
This recently released standard details minimum garment design requirements for high visibility safety garments for high-risk applications, (firefighting ensemble design specification requirements are found in AS 4602.2).
Included in the updated standard are additional classification levels within each category designed to assist consumers with garment selection. Conspicuity increases through each level with the requirement for placement of additional retroreflective tapes loops.
AS/NZS 1906.4-2023
AWTA Product Testing is NATA accredited to perform the full range of tests required for all fabric and retroreflective tape classes of AS/NZS 1906.4-2023.
- High daylight visibility-coloured materials, (Class F, Class NF, Class F(W) and Class NF(W))
- Retroreflective materials, (Class R)
- Combined retroreflective-fluorescent materials (Class RF)
- Separate performance retro-reflective / high visibility tape (Class (SP)
