Window furnishing fabrics are used in a wide variety of circumstances from domestic homes to heavy duty commercial environments.  The expectations of each of the users of the fabric differs and there are fabrics made to match each of these expectations. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Grading of Window Furnishing Fabrics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


A grading scheme based on the measurement of the performance of the fabrics provides users with a guide to likely performance when choosing a fabric.  Standards Australia have issued the AS 2663 series detailing grading of fabrics for window furnishings.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Testing covered includes dimensional change, strength, resistance to UV light; and colourfastness properties.  The permanence of applied coatings can be measured by comprehensive assessments after refurbishment treatments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
