Testing is carried out AS/NZS 1530.3 which is a radiant heat test where a sample is moved progressively closer to a radiant panel in stages until it ignites or a minimum distance is reached. The Spread of Flame, Heat Released, Ignitability, and Smoke Released Indices are determined.
